We Can't Wait to Meet You
In this episode, Kara and Nicole just talk about life, being moms, and how they got to where they are today. They discuss their different, but weirdly similar journey with autoimmune disease. They are also pretty honest about the hard mom stuff, the products they are loving, backyard chickens, and ethical fashion. Ya, they pretty much cover it all. If you want to get to know the moms behind the Simply Whole Moms podcast this is where you need to start.

More Mom Stuff:
If you know me at all you know that I love, love my sheet pan. In fact it is my favorite way to make a simple dinner for my family. It is also my most used kitchen anything… other than my french press. You heard that right… I know it should be a crockpot, but it isn’t. I love being able to throw everything on one pan, into the oven, and serve. Not tending to a dinner over the stove top or shredding up chicken saves me so much time.
Basically, our kids need three things. fat, protein, and carbohydrates. Vegetables are the (healthy) carbohydrates in our diet. Vegetables also have tons of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. There are plenty of these that we can only find in vegetables. These vitamins are essential for things like eyesight, wound healing, and immune support.
According to the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences, endocrine disruptors are chemicals that may interfere with the body’s endocrine system and produce adverse developmental, reproductive, neurological, and immune effect. Ya'll it is crazy to me that it is just accepted that the aforementioned issues are accepted as issues caused by chemicals.
This recipe is: Paleo, gluten free, dairy free, nut free, allergy friendly, Whole30, one pan and under 30 minutes cook time.
This is my tried and true cough syrup recipe. I make this every time a cold shows up or allergies get a little crazy. I have seen an improvement in the coughing, and the length of time that cough hangs around.
