Yummy Party Snacks
I love a good party snack! Heck I love a good party. I really do, this extrovert doesn’t find joy in a much more effective way than a party. I also love a party were the food and drinks are hella yummy and meet my diet needs.
Chex Mix is a party tradition in my household. I have lots of memories of my mom making it for different things throughout my childhood. That smell would fill up the house, you know the one, and it always just meant good times were coming.
When I started adjusting how I was eating my mom put this recipe together! It is pretty creative how she made it all gluten free and dairy sensitive, with the ghee. Moms are just the best. Jumping through hoops so that I don’t feel like I am missing out.
Twist on Traditional Chex Mix
Okay, hear me when I say this party food is in no way healthy. I love a good gluten free or dairy free food, don’t get me wrong, but this isn’t a healthy alternative. The chex and pretzels are full of all kinds of fillers. At a good party or around the holidays I feel no guilt about indulging in handfuls of this party mix… handfuls.
This recipe is: gluten free, and dairy sensitive.
